SMART2 tachograph - DSRC antenna and telematics system?

Many companies are currently equipping their trucks and buses with the new SMART2 tachographs. But what if error messages appear on the display after the conversion? A malfunction of the DSRC antenna is often indicated. This occurs on tachographs where the DSRC antenna is connected to the C interface (red C connector). If the telematics system is subsequently reconnected to the tachograph, this DSRC antenna is no longer connected to the tachograph.

A simple solution is our C-connector Y-switch. This is simply connected to the tachograph and then to the DSRC antenna and the existing telematics system. This will also clear the DSRC error message from the display.
